Dr. Ron Paul : Cold War Biases Doom Effective Russia Policies Today

"The legendary" Dr. Ron Paul, erstmals zu Gast bei Daniel Davis! Ein beeindruckendes Interview zum Iran-Krieg und seinen Folgen in der Weltwirtschaft und vor allem zur unausrottbaren Cold-War-Mentality, die bis heute jede Verbesserung der Beziehungen der USA (und des Westens insgesamt) zu Russland vergiftet!

 

 

Unter den vielen Kommentaren unter dem Video finde ich einen ganz besonders bemerkenswert, denn er betrachtet das Problem unter einem anderen Blickwinkel:

I'm not sure it's Cold War holdover attitudes, though there is some of that. The problem is that the operating system of the US is Western Liberalism. It was Liberalism vs the Nazis, Liberalism vs the Soviet Communists and now, in deepest irony, Liberalism vs. Russian Orthodox Christianity. The roles of the Cold War powers have essentially reversed to the extent that Liberalism was seen as the flagship of Christianity during the Cold War 1.0. Now, paradoxically, Liberalism has taken on the role of the Bolsheviks or the Nazis against Christianity in the present Cold War 2.0. It's unbelievable to the American electorate and the American elite are in denial, having sold their souls to their ideologies and never being able to believe that their alleged enemies are sincere in their beliefs. And it's a mess.
