Nach einiger Zeit wieder ein Video mit Douglas Macgregor, dessen Beurteilung der wirklichen Lage des US-Imperiums recht pessimistisch — oder vielmehr: realistisch! — klingt:
America is not merely drifting. It is being spent into exhaustion, stretched across wars it cannot finish, and governed by people who refuse to tell the public what every soldier, worker, and parent already feels in their bones: the country is living beyond its means, fighting beyond its strength, and lying beyond its credibility. Col. Douglas Macgregor does not soften the picture. He names the debt as a crime scene, the endless foreign commitments as a slow suicide, and Washington’s denial as the most dangerous weapon pointed at the American people. This is not pessimism. It is a combat veteran’s after-action report on a nation that still pretends it is invincible while the foundation cracks underneath it.
